Juice Networking Charity Shop Takeover

For the sixth successive year, we are incredibly proud to confirm we are Juice Networking’s charity partner for the next 12 months. Juice is a friendly, professional and fun business networking group in West Oxfordshire and we were excited to hold our first ever ‘Charity Shop Takeover’ with Juice members last week!

Small teams of Juice members held a special event in each of our charity shops last week:

  • Tuesday - Grove - raffle for a beautiful bouquet of flowers kindly donated by The Flower Shop

  • Thursday - Witney - cake sale and a tombola

  • Friday - Faringdon - cake sale and social media ‘hot picks’ updates

Our retail teams loved the events and feedback from the Juice members who kindly donated their time, baking skills, videography and cold hard cash suggests they certainly enjoyed themselves too.

The three teams collectively raised a tremendous £515 from their special events - the equivalent to 5,722 mugs of porridge in a Kenyan Porridge Club.

Apart from the old adage that they're all winners, this competitive bunch was keen to know the ultimate champions so...
