It’s back! Following its launch in 2013, TrekFest returns to The Peak District for the event’s 2019 edition on 31st August 2019.
The Peak District more than lives up to its reputation as one of Britain’s most inspiring National Parks. Starting in the Hope Valley, the 25km route encompasses part of the enchanting Ladybower reservoir and the 50km route summits Kinder Scout – a moorland plateau that at 636m (2,087ft) is the highest point in the Peak District, Derbyshire and the East Midlands!
You can choose to run, jog, trek or even crawl the 25km or 50km routes across one of the UK's most rugged, yet beautiful, national parks. TrekFest is designed to suit everyone from trekking beginners to elite trail runners. Race for the record, trek to beat the clock or walk at your own pace - the choice is yours!
You might event want to consider entering a team into the event. Perhaps you would like to trek with your friends, colleagues or family!
We will provide all African Children's Fund entrants with a technical t-shirt and fundraising support, and our partners at Global Adventure Challenges will be with you every step of the way from the moment you register until you complete the challenge.
