World Porridge Day round-up

Cast your minds back a couple of months and you might remember our World Porridge Day celebrations, highlighting the crucial work of Kenyan schools in providing Porridge Clubs to reduce school absenteeism and to increase learning opportunities.

We've just received our final contribution to the celebrations from the wonderful team at Juice Networking which we've added to the funds raised from our Witney street collection, charity shop collections, two individual porridge breakfast events and flapjack sales in Witney.

A massive £1,015.39!

Thank you to everyone who supported this series of events. Your support means we can provide over 14,500 mugs of porridge to children in Thika, Kenya enabling 65 children to go to school for an entire year. Simply incredible!
