Important changes to the Tassimo recycling programme

Due to changes that TerraCycle UK are making to the Tassimo recycling scheme, we are incredibly disappointed to confirm that our Witney shop is no longer going to be a registered drop-off point for the recycling of Tassimo T-Discs and packaging after 31st January 2018. Unfortunately, there are no other collectors in Oxfordshire.

** The last day we will be able to accept your Tassimo discs is Tuesday 23rd January, to give us enough time to return your waste to TerraCycle by their 31st January deadline. **

While we are naturally disappointed by TerraCycle's decision, we would like to extend our thanks to them for supporting our participation in this scheme during the past two years. In that time - thanks entirely to all our wonderful collectors - we have (so far) returned over 77,000 discs for recycling which has saved over 1,100kg (over 1 tonne) of otherwise non-recyclable waste from landfill. Furthermore, it has generated £770 for African Children's Fund which equates to over 11,000 mugs of porridge.

We will be sure to give you an update of the total amounts raised from the remaining collections in early February. We can also confirm that there are no changes to the biscuit wrapper or cleaning product packaging recycling schemes.
